Eyeconic Direct is a UK online eyewear store built around one idea: affordable quality glasses for all. We specialise in prescription-strength reading, distance, computer and photochromic glasses, and we ship thousands of pairs a month to customers across the UK.

We are an online company. That means none of the high overheads of a bricks-and-mortar optician — and we pass those savings straight on to you, with free UK shipping on every order.

Our workshop: Harrowgate Optics Works

Every pair we sell is crafted by our manufacturing partner Harrowgate Optics Works, a small British lens and frame workshop founded in 2014. Their fitters cut, grind and polish each lens to order — no mass-produced pre-made pairs, no warehouse of old stock. We work directly with their bench team, which keeps quality high and prices honest.

How your order is made

Almost all of our glasses are fitted to order using prescription-grade lenses, which takes 2–3 working days. That involves cutting, grinding, fitting, polishing, checking and machine testing the lenses. Rimless glasses take an extra 1–2 working days on top of this, owing to the complexity of fitting and drilling the lenses.

Shipping then takes a further 2–4 working days to mainland UK addresses. Free delivery, tracked, on every order.
